1. Insurance Restoration Project Management Sales Estimator

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year


Job Description:

You may be interested in joining our team as a Project Management Sales Estimator if you have experience in project management, construction, cost estimating, selling and negotiating. You will be the first to respond to our customers who have experienced water, fire, tree, storm, or mold damage. You’ll secure work authorizations and negotiate scopes of work to attain agreed pricing, gain customer commitments and sell profitable jobs.


  • Sales: Empathize with the customer’s concerns, secure work authorizations and work with insurance adjusters to negotiate scopes, attain agreed pricing, gain customer commitments, and sell profitable jobs.

  • Project Management: Maintain control of all jobs from start to finish by setting expectations, creating work orders and budgets, and communicating with the production team and customers daily. Ensure target completion dates are 99% accurate at all times (agreed by customer and Guardian, and documented in our database).

  • Estimating: Determines the scope of damages and creates repair estimates, supplements and change orders in Xactimate so jobs can meet Guardian Restoration’s timeliness standards with 99% accuracy.

  • Collections: Collaborates with the A/R team, establishes payment terms with customers, collects customer payments through the life of the job and closes out the job using the Guardian Restoration Close-Out Process.

  • Marketing: Has monthly contact with a target list of referral sources and attends at least 6 industry specific networking events per year.

  • You must have project management experience. You must be good at managing time and priorities and have above average decision making and leadership skills.   • The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management or business. In addition, they must understand residential and light commercial construction techniques.

2. Field Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Job Description:

The Job Supervisor is responsible for scheduling, purchasing materials, managing construction crews and subcontractors, and working with homeowners to repair homes that have experienced an insurance loss. The primary role of the Job Supervisor is managing the repair process by following a predetermined scope of repairs to meet customer expectations and produce a profitable job.


  • Manage job scheduling and job progress from start to finish in an efficient and cost-effective manner with a strong focus on quality.

  • Communicate with homeowners, estimators, and other internal support staff and management in an efficient and customer focused manner.

  • Hires, trains, motivates and leads a team of subcontractors.

  • Monitor and ensure all restoration technicians and subcontractors understand and comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Maintain adequate staffing levels.

  • Ideal candidate will be a leader, will be highly organized, have good written and verbal communication skills, be proficient with technology, have a thorough understanding of residential and light commercial construction techniques.

Primary Job Competency Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration and time management skills

  • You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in residential and/or light commercial construction job supervision

  • The ability to prioritize and handle multiple task in a changing environment

  • The ability to motivate and manage teams of technicians and subcontractors

  • Must be in the on-call rotation once per month

  • Must be able to pass a background check

3. Lead Mitigation Technician

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Job Description:

A successful Lead Mitigation Technician candidate is responsible for leading/guiding a mitigation crew, scoping a for residential and commercial losses, and professionally communicating with the customer. The applicant will also be responsible for a mitigation vehicle, mitigation equipment, program compliance checklists, initial customer contact, and assisting the Mitigation Manager in training new technicians.

Must have at least 1 year experience in water mitigation and hold an IICRC WRT certification.


  • Lead a mitigation crew

  • Performance of water mitigation, mold remediation, fire/smoke/storm damage clean up under the supervision of the Mitigation Manager

  • Focus and dedication to providing excellent customer service

  • Maintain a clean, properly stocked and organized truck

  • Maintain all company equipment

  • Be accessible by phone and participate, in the on-call rotation

  • Assist other team members as needed

  • Initial job-site inspection and start

  • Ability to sell our Services and our company with professionalism

  • Ability to fully scope a job

  • Perform applied structural drying per IICRC standards

  • Digitally capture daily psychometric & moisture content readings

  • Follow the job site safety conditions and procedural protocol

  • Be a flexible team player and always demonstrate a can-do attitude

  • Maintain company image and a positive attitude

Primary Job Competency Requirements:

  • At least 1 year mitigation experience

  • Ability to lift 75 lbs. frequently

  • WRT Certification

  • Able to pass a criminal background check

  • Valid driver's license

  • Must have the ability to be on call and to work nights and weekends/overtime, as needed

  • Desire to be part of a great team

  • Xactimate Level 1 Trained
